David Bohm Interview. D. Home in Science Today p°25 (1986).  What the paper says!?

This is a fascinating interview of David Bohm by Dipankar Home who conducts the interview as ST (Science Today).

It has invaluable insights on Oppenheimer, which are especially interesting given that Bohm refused to testify in his McCarthy hearing. He could have said just what he says to Dipankar in this interview! (He explains why he didn't; there wasn't so much fuss on a more local reading of the events). There he holds the view that all the problems of Oppenheimer came from his opposing the Hydrogen bomb, which is a likely reason. He also makes interesting comments on a possible Theory of Everything.

There we learn of how he got to get interested in science:

also learning how his early study on plasma for the Manhattan project (to produce Uranium isotopes) led him to philosophical considerations on the wholeness of things.

There's delightful account on his book on quantum theory, which he wrote to understand Niels Bohr interpretation:

His comments on Einstein are interesting (though nothing new):

His comments on Oppenheimer, in particular related to the bombs, are even more interesting:
