yzao is the hostname of my travel laptop, which I got and setup on 20 August (2026).
Setting up my working environment on it took a few hours with the help of AI, as opposed to a couple of days usually.
Since 24 October (2026), yzao borrows azag's keyboard and mouse through Deskflow (the Ubuntu package, as a client): Ctrl+Alt+→ hands them over to yzao, which flashes its name in the middle of its screen, and Ctrl+Alt+← gives them back. The whole setup—why hotkeys rather than screen edges, the relative pointer moves, the name flash, the BenQ input switch—is described on azag's page.
Two things on yzao belong to it: ~/bin/deskflow-flash (a copy of azag's), and an ssh key of azag's in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys that can only run that flash. yzao finds azag through a fixed line in /etc/hosts, safe since both addresses are reserved on the router. For the big screen, yzao goes to the BenQ's HDMI-1 input; USB-C did not carry the picture.
